A Manual for the Timeless

The timeless person is not someone who has eliminated deadlines. That person exists only in advertisements for expensive retreats. The timeless person has learned that perfection is often a delay wearing a clean shirt.

The perfect edition of the self is always being prepared and never released. A work becomes real through contact with the world. It can be revised after publication, but it cannot be revised before existence. Professionalism matters. So does the courage to remain unfinished enough to grow. Eternity does not require a perfect edition. It requires an edition that continues to live.

Eternity does not begin when time becomes endless. It begins when a decision, a page, or a work refuses to expire.
