THE CLOCK WITH NO MANAGER
THE FIRST COMMANDMENT OF BLADEFREGA
THOU SHALT NOT REPORT YOUR SOUL TO THE CALENDAR.
The clock is a useful device with an inflated sense of authority. It measures hours and then behaves as if it invented them. Calendars organize time. They do not own it.
A creator must respect time without kneeling before it. Some work requires structure. Other work requires a temporary escape from structure’s increasingly confident voice. The clock wants completion by five. The idea wants another hour. The professional decision is not always to obey the clock. Eternity is what remains when the clock has finished speaking.
Conclusion
Eternity does not begin when time becomes endless. It begins when a decision, a page, or a work refuses to expire.
