THE DARK SIDE OF PERMANENCE

THE FIRST COMMANDMENT OF BLADEFREGA

THOU SHALT NOT MISTAKE SURVIVAL FOR MEANING.

The dark side of permanence is that survival alone proves nothing. A file can remain forever and still say nothing useful. A monument can outlast a civilization and still be made of vanity.

To remain is not enough. Permanence without consequence is merely a long queue with excellent lighting. Every creator must ask what should survive: the ego, the title, the signature, or the work’s ability to alter another mind? Meaning is the light inside permanence. Without meaning, eternity is only duration with better branding.

Conclusion

Eternity does not begin when time becomes endless. It begins when a decision, a page, or a work refuses to expire.
