THOU SHALT NOT LET PROFESSIONALISM KILL CURIOSITY.
The immortal amateur is dangerous because the amateur has not yet learned which doors are supposed to remain closed. Professionals know the rules. Amateurs know that rules are often historical accidents with excellent public relations.
Curiosity keeps the amateur moving. There is no career to protect, no approved category to defend, and no committee capable of granting final permission. This does not mean abandoning discipline. It means refusing to confuse discipline with obedience. The amateur may work seriously without becoming predictable. Eternity may belong less to the perfect specialist than to the persistent beginner.
Conclusion
Eternity does not begin when time becomes endless. It begins when a decision, a page, or a work refuses to expire.
