Before technology, there are people. Experience can be told but never handed down like a manual — it always remains a personal fact. Knowledge, instead, can be shared, transferred, taught. Yet some guard it like private property, fearing that passing it on means losing value; others understand that competence, shared, only grows.

Technologies evolve through investment, but the true return is not the machine — it is what people are able to do through it: trust, credibility, professionalism. A facility never coincides with the number of its machines. It coincides with the people who work in it, with their preparation, their willingness to share what they know.

We become who we are thanks to the people we meet. Physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, care workers, administrative staff — not as roles, but as a constant human presence: the ones who welcome, listen, sustain, encourage, accompany, every day, the path of those trying to return to their own lives. Rehabilitation is never an individual path. Competence heals the body. Presence helps to sustain it.
