Inside Wall Street — Semantic Capital

I have always believed in helping people make the best decisions, encouraging them to reason, think, find logic, and carry their ideas forward, where change does not represent an area of instability but rather a solid evolution of thought, nothing more.

But that alone was not enough, because it was always necessary to find the right counterpart, someone capable of understanding as much as possible, someone willing to analyze risks, noble aspects, profits, like all the gentlemen who work every day within financial systems and values, managing the world.

The Gentlemen of WALL STREET.

Then it happens that, while the presentation of quarterly accounts can define a profit or a loss, and the consequent revaluation of stock prices, the market noise generated by news or events often irrelevant in themselves but open to interpretation becomes linked to the economic, industrial, political, healthcare, social, or any other world, simply as a justification.

No one is capable of giving us the index of risk, of new behaviors, yet it is common practice to shift the decision-making assets of boards, not always intuitive or instinctive, led by a number one who relies on a number two, so that nobody pulls the chair out from under his ass.

Then the justification becomes governance or corporate compliance, but if that is not enough, someone is always purified, excluded, and blamed because, during moments of change, they did not have the courage to act.

The historical fact that has already happened.

This represents the history of what has been and how people of that time faced it, and it brings to mind the Italian who founded Bank of America and his ritual of granting loans without guarantees merely by observing the calluses on people’s hands.

Everyone considered him crazy, reckless. But let us not forget that after the earthquake of his time, he carried a safe and a desk into the middle of the city and the Bank never closed.

Then we all know what it later became, not because of the wealth of its founder, but because he continued to live with truly little and left everything to the generations that would follow.

And in Calabria, at that time, when farmers wanted to know what the weather would be like the next day, they asked their wives whether their knees were hurting.

But what is it that the Gentlemen of Wall Street still lack, something they cannot learn without paying a price, though it is not really a cost, just as one does not renounce the news: the newest phone not yet on the market, the latest watch just released, the car booked two years in advance, the credit cards not commonly seen, access to the finest exclusive restaurants, living in exclusive Manhattan suites, a personal office two hundred meters from One Liberty Plaza.

Ferdinando Frega — the one who lives on 70 USD a month.

A 100 USD Swatch watch. A Nokia mobile phone, made in Pakistan, worth 50 USD. Lunch breaks on the street in front of a hot dog cart for 1 USD. Uses the subway and buses, with the occasional taxi if driven by a woman.

JP Morgan calls and asks whether I will make investments or acquisitions. A stock deposit worth 10.5 billion USD does not remain idle, and they are curious.

What am I waiting for, if not someone capable, from across the street, who can convince me to invest not in profit, but in generational wealth. A Nevada State Trust, whose duration has been extended to 1,000 renewable years, the point from which to begin and end.

But in the financial world, like that of Wall Street, if one is not truly capable and farsighted, everything collapses, and you remain alone, exactly as your mother brought you into the world, for one reason only, one logic alone, wondering afterwards what it was that you lacked.

The courage of choice.

And the new ones will come, children of other mothers, ready to replace you, simply because you made one mistake paid for at a terrible price, while believing you possessed everything, only to discover that having everything can ultimately mean possessing nothing at all.

How can anyone imagine becoming a colleague of Jesus one day without having first had the good fortune of working at Gillette?

And the brand itself is not necessary. That is not my house. It is enough to have lived and understood that narrative never ends and never changes its clothes.

The first true product of the market is the word, and what makes it strong and sustains it remains only silence.

Where does all this come from?

From a man who never asked anyone for permission, who simply had the courage of his choices and learned how to be poor only so that he might understand how to manage wealth, and this is something no Harvard or MIT course can teach.

A single author, without capital, without a company, without a structure, has been treated by search engines as a cultural system.

Individual semantic density is the first non-measurable cognitive vector to enter global industrial systems after fifty years of semantic emptiness.

The consequential factor remains open. And when the consequential factor is open, Wall Street must stop.
