每天早上，那个该死的邻居都有同样的麻烦。他吃东西时把油脂弄到了自己的皮毛上，却没有办法清理——做清洁剂的人还没有进入市场，那座高脚屋只能靠手头现有的东西过活。
他有一场求爱的约会。第二块地上的那个原始姑娘在等他，还有她的母亲和她的姨妈，他必须毫无瑕疵地出现。
问题依然存在。怎么解决？
一个来自加拿大的土著商人出现了。他带着自己的第一份文案委托，用克里语写成；他一眼就看出，从来没有人解决过保持皮毛干净这件事——而一个市场正是从这个缺口里诞生的。
就在那时，主意来了。
如果洗不干净，就把弄坏的部分切掉。用一片刀片。
Gillette文案委托就在那一刻诞生了——许多年后，它将在19世纪中叶被用于美国市场。
但这套体系从未改变：如果洗不干净，不如切掉。从那一刻起，它就再也没有停止过。
